Senior Developer (MERN)

You are applying for the role of a Senior MERN Developer where you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of developers, optimizing and scaling web applications using the MERN stack, contributing to backend development in Python, and ensuring the team follows best practices and implements the right technical approaches. You will collaborate with project managers and clients to align technical solutions with business goals, assist in hiring and onboarding new developers, and conduct code reviews. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical direction and guidance. - Develop, optimize, and scale web applications primarily using the MERN stack. - Contribute to backend development in Python for APIs and integrations. - Support the team in evaluating and implementing the right technical approaches. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. - Collaborate with project managers and clients to align technical solutions with business goals. - Assist in hiring and onboarding new developers when required. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong hands-on expertise in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). - Working experience with Python frameworks (Django/Flask/FastAPI). - Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers. - Ability to architect and implement scalable web applications. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - 5+ years of development experience, including team leadership responsibilities. - Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects in a team environment.
