Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, customization, and development of solutions within

  IFS Assyst

  .
• Configure and enhance

  workflows, forms, service catalog items, automation scripts, and integrations

  .
• Work closely with ITSM and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement

  system upgrades, patches, and enhancements

  while ensuring minimal disruption.
• Develop and maintain

  APIs, connectors, and third-party system integrations

  .
• Ensure

  code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices

  .
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 6+ years of overall software development experience

  , with at least

  3+ years working on IFS Assyst

  (customization, configuration, and integration).
• Strong knowledge of

  ITIL processes

  and how they align with IFS Assyst.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Assyst Service Designer, Workflow Builder, and Form Designer

• JavaScript, SQL, XML, REST/SOAP APIs

• System integrations with enterprise tools (ERP, HR, CRM, Monitoring tools, etc.)

• Familiarity with

  cloud deployments and IT infrastructure environments

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• IFS Assyst

  certifications

  (developer/administrator).
• Experience with

  DevOps practices

  , CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Exposure to

  enterprise ITSM tools

  beyond IFS Assyst (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Cherwell, etc.).
• Knowledge of

  scripting languages

  such as PowerShell or Python.
