Senior Design Engineer

In this role, you will provide technical support for CAD related activities, create 3D models and drawings from conceptual sketches, assist in component fabrication and testing, and support the team in creating technical documentation using tools like Microsoft Word and Excel. Your ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines will be crucial in this position. To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 1-3 years of relevant experience in the field. A strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including physics, materials, and standards is essential. Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks or Creo, is required, and certification in these tools would be an added advantage. Additionally, you should have a good grasp of GD&T, ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards, and experience in designing jigs and fixtures. Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be working closely with the team to ensure project success.
