Senior Design Engineer

Senior Design Engineer @ Wanowrie , Pune

Your key deliverables will be:

• Design and develop pressure reducing valves, control valves, pilot-operated and diaphragm operated valves, and PRS/PRDS skid systems.
• Perform sizing, selection, and design calculations for valves and system components based on process data sheets.
• Develop general arrangement drawings, sectional drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD tools.
• Prepare thermal and mechanical stress analysis, hydraulic calculations, and flow simulations (CFD) when required
• Strong knowledge of pressure control principles, flow dynamics, and valve sizing calculations. Hands-on experience in valve design (globe, angle, pilot-operated, diaphragm-operated) and PRS/PRDS systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/any equivalent, and CAE tools (Ansys/CFD optional).
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, B16.34, API 520/521, IBR, and PED requirements.

Essential Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred).
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in industrial valve design and pressure control system engineering.
• Experience with steam, condensate, gas, or process fluid systems is desirable.
