Position Overview:

Senior HVAC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Prepare and validate HVAC design criteria, calculations, P&ID, BOQ, HVAC Layouts, specifications, and performance requirements.
• Support feasibility studies, concept design, and optimization for energy efficiency and sustainability.

Design Review & Advisory:

• Review HVAC system designs submitted by EPC contractors for compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Provide technical recommendations and ensure alignment with client requirements and international best practices.

Project Coordination:

• Act as the primary HVAC technical interface between the client, EPC contractors, and internal teams.
• Participate in design review meetings, clarify technical queries, and resolve design conflicts.

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, NFPA, NBC and other relevant standards.

Client Engagement:

• Provide expert advice to clients on HVAC solutions, system reliability, and lifecycle cost optimization.
• Assist in bid evaluation and vendor selection for HVAC equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum

  10 years of experience

  in HVAC design and consulting for industrial/commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, VRF, AHUs, ventilation systems, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Proficiency in HVAC design tools (CHVAC Elite, AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with BIM workflows.
• Experience in reviewing EPC designs and managing client interfaces.
• Site team support during execution stage
