Job Description

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for Residential, Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing high-voltage and medium-voltage distribution systems - Preparing detailed project reports with load calculations and DG set calculations - Designing LV & MV panels, schematic drawings, and riser drawings - Planning MV cabling-routing with correct sizing based on de-rating factor and voltage drop calculations - Specifying HV & MV switchgear, transformers, diesel generators, and other major capital items - Implementing internal electrification for optimal energy utilization - Creating illumination designs, lighting distribution plans, conduiting, wiring, and cabling layouts - Designing power backup systems including DG and UPS distribution - Selecting capacitor banks for power factor improvements - Developing external electrical layouts including substation and earthing layouts, and conducting voltage drop calculations - Drafting tender documents for total electrical works Additionally, the company requires candidates to have a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and 8-15 years of relevant experience.
