Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Golaghat ASSAM Experience: Minimum 10 years in central government building construction projects Reporting to: Project Manager / Site In-Charge Education : B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineer or Diploma in Electrical Engineer Email : careers@vishalbuilders.com Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage electrical works for central government building construction projects. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Delhi Schedule of Rates (DSR) , CPWD specifications, and relevant IS codes, along with hands-on expertise in modern electrical and allied systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all electrical works at site as per project drawings, specifications, and approved standards. Ensure compliance with CPWD norms and DSR guidelines for estimation, costing, and billing. Prepare, review, and verify BOQs, estimates, and rate analysis as per DSR. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams for timely execution of electrical and allied installations. Inspect site works, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality control as per project requirements. Prepare and verify contractor bills, measurement sheets, and ensure adherence to approved budgets. Monitor project schedules, identify delays, and propose corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and statutory requirements. Prepare regular progress reports and present updates to the project manager and client representatives. Key Skills & Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems including fire alarm systems , CCTV , HVAC , boilers , chillers, ELV. Expertise in firefighting group wiring , point wiring , and the use of FRLS (Flame Retardant Low Smoke) wires for safe electrical installations. Practical knowledge of wiring standards for high-rise and complex government buildings. Ability to read and interpret electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and load schedules. Familiarity with modern building management systems (BMS) is an added advantage. Key Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical works for central government building projects. Thorough knowledge of DSR , CPWD specifications, and IS standards. Proven experience in estimation, tendering, and billing as per government norms. Strong leadership, coordination, and site management skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software. Excellent communication and reporting skills. NOTE: IMMEDIATE JOINERS ARE MORE PREFERRED WITH BUILDING CONSTRUCTIONS EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for Electrical Design in various sectors such as Residential, Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial Projects. Your role will involve designing, coordinating, and providing detailed engineering to ensure the optimal utilization of available resources for electrical engineering services. Key responsibilities include designing high-voltage and medium-voltage distribution systems, preparing DBR with Load calculation and DG set calculation, designing LV & MV panels, schematic/riser drawings, MV cabling-routing, correct sizing based on de-rating factor and voltage drop calculation, and specifying various HV & MV switchgear, Transformers, Diesel Generators, and other major capital items. You will also be involved in internal electrification for energy optimization, illumination designs, lighting distribution, conduiting, wiring, cabling, power backup systems such as DG and UPS distribution, selection of Capacitor Banks for power factor improvements, and preparing external electrical layouts including Substation, Earthing Layout, and Voltage Drop calculation. Additionally, your role will require you to prepare tender documents for total electrical works, including point wiring, cables, Distribution Boards, L.T. panel, Transformer, D.G. Set, UPS, Inverters, and other electrical items. Operating knowledge of Revit is also preferred for this position. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E. in Electrical Engineering with a desired experience range of 8 to 15 years.,
