Senior Dental Assistant

• CRITERIA :

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE OF 1 YEAR (WORKING AS A DENTAL ASSISTANT)

The Role
We are seeking a competent and friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is well-organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience. You will work closely with our dentists and dental hygienists to provide high-quality patient care and maintain the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures (e.g., examinations, fillings, extractions).
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to health and safety regulations.
• Take and process dental X-rays (if certified).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records and charts.
• Schedule appointments and assist with billing procedures.
• Help maintain inventory and order dental supplies.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all patients.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited dental assistant program is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus, but motivated freshers are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization methods.
• Proficiency in using dental software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
