Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and functions.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and capacity planning.
Develop and maintain Excel-based tools and reports using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA macros.
Modernize and migrate legacy MS Access applications to SQL Server as needed.
Collaborate with application developers to support integrations and data pipelines.
Implement data governance, security, and backup strategies.
Document database architecture, workflows, and technical specifications.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience in database development using Microsoft SQL Server.
Expertise in
T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
.
Strong proficiency with
MS Excel (including VBA)
and
MS Access
.
Experience in
ETL processes

data migration
, and
job scheduling
.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
