Job Description

Role Overview: You will be involved in the ongoing development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) as the Media and Marketing Data Engineer at Logitech. Your role will include participating in data loading and extraction from external sources through APIs, storage buckets (S3, Blob storage), and marketing-specific data integrations. You will be responsible for data analysis, data modeling, and ensuring successful implementation in the production environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, document, and test ETL solutions using industry-standard tools. - Design physical and reporting data models for seamless cross-functional and cross-systems data reporting. - Enhance point-of-sale datasets with additional data points for stakeholders" insights. - Ensure data integrity by validating and reconciling data from third-party providers. - Collaborate with data providers and internal teams to address customer data discrepancies and enhance data quality. - Work closely with D&I teams to deliver datasets optimized for reporting and visualization tools like Tableau. - Gather requirements from data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders and translate them into data solutions. - Participate in design discussions with enterprise architects and recommend design improvements. - Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models with corresponding metadata. - Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools. - Manage code versioning and deployment of Snowflake objects using CI/CD practices. Qualifications Required: - 6 to 10 years of experience in ETL design, development, and populating data warehouses, including experience with heterogeneous OLTP sources. - At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Pentaho Data Integration or similar ETL tools. - Practical experience working with cloud-based Data Warehouses such as Snowflake and Redshift. - Significant hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities and features. - Experience in API-based integrations and marketing data. - Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts. - Proficiency in SQL queries and databases. - Familiarity with Snowflake's unique features and SQL optimization techniques. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
