Senior Data Engineering

Role Overview: As a Media and Marketing Data Engineer at Logitech, you will be a key player in the ongoing development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Your role will involve participating in data loading and extraction from external sources, such as API, Storage buckets (S3, Blob storage), and marketing-specific data integrations. You will be responsible for data analysis, data modeling, and ensuring successful implementation in the production environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, document, and test ETL solutions using industry-standard tools. - Design physical and reporting data models for seamless cross-functional and cross-systems data reporting. - Enhance point-of-sale datasets with additional data points to provide stakeholders with useful insights. - Ensure data integrity by validating and reconciling data obtained from third-party providers. - Collaborate with data providers and internal teams to address customer data discrepancies and enhance data quality. - Deliver datasets optimized for consumption in reporting and visualization tools like Tableau. - Gather requirements from data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders and translate them into data solutions. - Recommend design improvements by participating in design discussions with enterprise architects. - Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models with corresponding metadata. - Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools. - Manage code versioning and deployment of Snowflake objects using CI/CD practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. - 6 to 10 years of experience in ETL design, development, and populating data warehouses. - 3 years of hands-on experience with Pentaho Data Integration or similar ETL tools. - Practical experience working with cloud-based Data Warehouses such as Snowflake and Redshift. - Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities and features. - Proficiency in SQL queries and troubleshooting data quality issues. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
