Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Azure Data Services, SAP integration, and modern data governance tools like Unity Catalog. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data extraction from enterprise systems, data movement across platforms, and performance-optimized data pipeline development.

Implement and manage Unity Catalog
within the data ecosystem for data governance, security, and access control.
Integrate with SAP systems
, including connecting to key master data tables and leveraging SAP APIs for data extraction.
Develop and maintain
data ingestion pipelines using APIs
for real-time and batch data extraction.
Work with
Azure Blob Storage
and
Azure Synapse Analytics
for staging and transformation of large datasets.
Design and implement
data movement strategies from Synapse to Microsoft Fabric
, leveraging native and custom pipelines.
Handle and transform multiple data formats including
JSON, XML, and CSV
.
Build and maintain
Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines
, including setup of Linked Services, Datasets, and Integration Runtime configurations.
Optimize pipeline performance
through tuning, parallelization, and resource management.
Implement robust
monitoring and logging mechanisms
for data pipelines to ensure reliability, traceability, and operational visibility.
