We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with 6-12 years of experience to join our team at Syneos Health, playing a crucial role in driving data-driven insights and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale data systems, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures.
Ensure high-quality data by implementing robust testing and validation procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
Develop and implement data governance policies and standards.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for improved efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to data engineering.

Job Requirements

Strong experience in data engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
