Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer (SQL and Snowflake).

Key responsibilities include support for the following:

• Primary Skills: SQL, Snowflake, Python, and SAP (ERP), Basic Experience in AI Implementation in Back-End Data Pipelines
• Secondary Skills: Power BI/DAX
• Work in an agile way by attending daily scrum calls and weekly sprint planning sessions
• Work with SMEs, users of Medtronic systems, scrum masters, and IT partners to better understand business processes and the data that supports those processes.
• Adhere to data engineering life cycle (generation, ingestion, transformation, serving) and all related under currents (security, data management, data operations, data architecture, orchestration and software engineering).
• Facilitate the ideation and creation of analytical solutions for various functions.
• Capture requirements and suggest improvements for analytical processes.
• Collaborate extensively across cross-functional teams and the organization.
• Help drive the development and deployment of analytical solutions, fostering analytics and insights that yield positive business outcomes.
• Help ensure the development of Analytics & Insights aligns with the End-to-End (E2E) business processes and business objectives.
• Act as a key resource to support and drive analytics initiatives.
• Help ensure a high level of customer value and satisfaction through extreme ownership.
• Promote the adoption and usage of analytics tools and insights.
• Support training in analytic tools.
• Help ensure timely and efficient delivery of solutions.
• Serve as a steward of their analytics by generating insights for business use cases.
• Adopt AI tools/Innovation to deliver value to the Analytics Users
