About the Role We are looking for a Frontend Developer with deep expertise in modern web technologies to help us build scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly applications. You will be working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building customer-facing products, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code. Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain React + Next.js based applications. Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into high-quality code. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices. Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and SEO . Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high engineering standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, backend, QA) to deliver features on time. Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and trends. Requirements 5+ years of professional frontend development experience . Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Next.js . Solid understanding of Node.js and its ecosystem (basic backend knowledge to work with APIs). Experience working with REST APIs (knowledge of GraphQL is a plus). Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles . Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil). Hands-on experience with build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm, yarn). Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues. Good understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices . Nice to Have Experience with SSR/SSG in Next.js and web performance tuning. Knowledge of GraphQL and API design best practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel) and deployment workflows. Experience with design systems and component libraries (Storybook, Material UI, TailwindCSS). Contribution to open-source projects or personal portfolio showcasing frontend work. Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment . Ownership mindset with attention to detail. Eagerness to mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team.
