Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, robust, and efficient end-to-end data pipelines and the entire data infrastructure. Your role will involve leading the development and optimization of data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing solutions within Snowflake. Additionally, you will implement advanced data transformations and data quality frameworks using dbt (data build tool) and develop and manage complex data processing scripts and applications using Python. You will be expected to architect and deploy data solutions leveraging a wide range of AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift, EC2) to ensure high performance and reliability. Furthermore, overseeing the integration of various data sources and ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and security across the data ecosystem will be crucial aspects of your role. Collaboration with BI Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver impactful data solutions will be essential. Establishing and enforcing data governance, best practices, and documentation standards for data engineering, monitoring data pipeline performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvements will also be part of your responsibilities. You should have expert-level proficiency in Python, extensive experience with Snowflake data warehousing, deep expertise in dbt, comprehensive hands-on experience with core AWS data services, familiarity with Power BI, and proven experience managing and owning the entire data stack from ingestion to consumption. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to lead projects and mentor team members, are required.
