Senior Data Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer at the company, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data solutions to meet analytical and business decision-making needs. You should possess a strong background in data architecture, pipeline development, and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing. - Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to support data initiatives and ensure consistency across projects. - Model and structure data following data warehouse best practices to support business intelligence and reporting needs. - Leverage cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for data processing and storage solutions. - Utilize big data technologies such as Hadoop and Apache Spark for efficient processing and management of large datasets. - Write and maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented Python code for data manipulation and automation tasks. Qualifications Required: - 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. - Expert-level proficiency in SQL with a deep understanding of performance tuning and optimization. - Solid hands-on experience with Python, expertise preferred. - Proven experience working with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and best practices. - Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing ETL pipelines in production environments. - Hands-on experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark. - Experience with ML and AI is a plus.
