Senior Data Engineer

Data Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the design and development of large-scale, production-grade data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using

  Python, AWS, and Snowflake

  .
• Build and optimize

  backend services, APIs, and frameworks

  to enable robust data access and application integration.
• Drive

  advanced SQL development

  (complex queries, performance tuning, analytical functions) and mentor junior developers on best practices.
• Architect and implement

  data models, warehousing, and governance

  frameworks within Snowflake.
• Design and deliver

  front-end dashboards and tools

  using React to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Deploy and manage production-grade applications on

  AWS Elastic Beanstalk

  , ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Implement

  CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation frameworks

  for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate closely with

  cross-functional teams

  (data science, analytics, and product) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to

  security, compliance, and data privacy standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in

  Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field

  .

• 5 8+ years

  of professional experience in

  data engineering, backend, or full-stack development

  .
• Proven expertise in

  advanced SQL

  (complex queries, optimization, windowing, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Strong, production-level proficiency in

  Python

  (beyond ingestion including APIs, automation, frameworks).
• Hands-on expertise with

  AWS services

  (Lambda, S3, Glue, RDS, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, Elastic Beanstalk, Airflow, CLI).
• Strong experience with

  Snowflake

  (data modeling, performance optimization, governance).
• Proficiency in

  Data warehouse, DBT (Data Build Tool)

• Knowledge of

  CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization (Docker)

  .

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with

  infrastructure as code

  (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with

  production deployments

  , monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to

  data analytics and BI platforms

  (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide developers.
• Proficiency with

  React.js
