Senior Data Architect

As a Data Architect at Beinex in Kochi, Kerala, your role will involve collaborating with the Sales team to build RFPs, Pre-sales activities, Project Delivery, and support. You will be responsible for delivering on-site technical engagements with customers, including participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, defining project timelines, and implementations. Your delivery engagements will include on and off-site projects to assist customers in migrating from their existing data warehouses using other databases to Snowflake. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Sales team for RFPs, Pre-sales activities, Project Delivery, and support - Deliver on-site technical engagements with customers - Participate in pre-sales on-site visits - Understand customer requirements, define project timelines, and implementations - Assist customers in migrating to Snowflake from their existing data warehouses Qualifications Required: - BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 8+ years of experience in IT platform implementation in a technical role - 8+ years of development and/or DBA, Data Migration experience in RDBMS - 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and performance tuning MPP databases - Experience in Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, or Azure Synapse - Prioritization of projects that mitigate trade-offs - Analyzing Data Warehouses such as Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, SAP - Designing database environments, analyzing production deployments, and making recommendations for performance optimization - Writing SQL, Stored Procedures - Conducting Data Validation and Data Quality tests - Evaluating and planning migrations to Snowflake At Beinex, you will have access to comprehensive health plans, learning and development opportunities, workation and outdoor training, a hybrid working environment, and on-site travel opportunities.
