Senior Consulting Engineer

As a Senior Consulting Engineer at MongoDB, you will be a part of a global team of consulting engineers, working with customers of all sizes and verticals to solve complex problems and drive customer adoption scenarios. Your role will involve contributing to customer implementations at different stages of the application lifecycle, delivering customer training, collaborating with delivery teams, and influencing the MongoDB product roadmap. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to customer implementations at all phases of the application lifecycle - Deliver customer classroom-based training - Work as part of a wider delivery team - Cultivate your individual MongoDB reputation as a trusted advisor - Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap Qualifications Required: - Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills - High motivation for a role combining deep technical and customer-management dimensions - Confidence in speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting - 10+ years of software development/consulting/support experience in distinct industries - Capability and comfort with frequent travel for short trips to customer sites - Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures and application development methodologies - Competence in at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, Go - Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL - Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus - Strong capability in English and any local language as necessary MongoDB's mission is to empower innovators by unleashing the power of software and data, enabling organizations to build, scale, and run modern applications.
