Description
Key Skills: Automation Testing, Terraform, Python, Puppet, Docker. Roles and Responsibilities: Act as a technical lead with expertise in Python, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, and DevOps practices. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for infrastructure automation and associated technologies. Drive infrastructure automation initiatives across multiple regions and ensure alignment with global engineering strategies. Navigate HSBC's complex infrastructure teams and structures, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to senior management. Take full ownership of assigned tasks, from requirement gathering to resolution of defects and delivery of high-quality products into production environments. Address technical challenges by researching solutions, implementing best practices, and ensuring alignment with broader global engineering programs. Implement technical standards and governance across engineering teams, while promoting the adoption of tooling, cloud environments, and automated testing throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate within Scrum teams to define and execute the technical roadmap for all channels and service fulfillment functions. Demonstrate a strong track record in designing, developing, and deploying applications, with hands-on experience in Unix, Git, and Jenkins. Experience Requirements: 7-9 years experience in automation using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and Cloud SDK. Strong experience as an AWS Cloud Architect or Consultant with deep knowledge of AWS services and technologies. Technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and data management. Proficient in DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines and configuration management. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, with strong analytical and communication skills. Working knowledge or exposure to AI/ML technologies. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Understanding of financial services industry regulations and compliance standards. Education: B.Tech M.Tech (Dual), B.Tech, M. Tech.
