Senior Consultant - Cloud Infra/Devops Engineer

Role Summary:

The Cloud/InfraEngineer will play a pivotal role within the AI Platforms and Services (AIPS)team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the robust cloudinfrastructure that powers our AI initiatives. This individual will leveragetheir extensive DevOps experience to build and manage automated CI/CDpipelines, ensuring the seamless integration, deployment, and operation of AIapplications. The role is critical for enabling our data science anddevelopment teams to innovate rapidly while ensuring the stability,scalability, and security of the underlying platforms. The engineer will act asa key technical expert for infrastructure automation and will collaborateclosely with various stakeholders to support the company's AI-driven mission.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing services such as Cloud Run, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated application deployment, testing, and release management.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain robust Python scripts for automating various cloud operations, pipeline orchestration, and system integrations.
• Provide support for both Linux and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting, patching, and performance optimization.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions with Dynatrace to ensure the health, performance, and availability of cloud applications and infrastructure.
• Configure and manage GCP Alerts to proactively identify and respond to operational issues and security incidents.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and data science teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud-based solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed to ensure high availability of critical systems.
• Continuously research and recommend new technologies and best practices to improve our cloud infrastructure and operational efficiency.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and operational procedures.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-10 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with any Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating system administration.
• Demonstrated experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Excellent Python scripting skills for automation and pipeline development.
• Experience with monitoring tools, specifically Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with configuring and managing GCP Alerts.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, Vertex AI, BigQuery, andCloud Functions.
• GCPcertifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Engineer, Professional CloudArchitect).
• Experiencewith other programming languages or scripting tools.
• Experiencewith containerization technologies (e.g., Podman, GKE).
• Knowledge of networking concepts in a cloud environment.
