Senior Consultant - AI

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation on AI adoption, governance and implementation in government and public sector projects.
• Ensure alignment of AI initiatives with MeitY AI guidelines, data privacy laws and global best practices.
• Collaborate with government agencies, regulatory bodies and industry partners to shape AI-driven digital transformation policies.
• Support the formulation of AI frameworks, responsible AI policies and regulatory guidelines for public sector adoption.
• Evaluate the risks, benefits and feasibility of AI-driven projects in governance, citizen services and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions and advisory discussions for government officials and stakeholders.
• Develop whitepapers, reports and strategy documents on AI adoption, ethical considerations and implementation roadmaps.

Mandatory skill sets:

• Strong understanding of AI policy, governance frameworks and MeitYs AI guidelines at the national level.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, regulatory compliance and responsible AI principles.
• Experience in AI-driven digital transformation initiatives in government or large enterprises.
• Ability to translate technical AI concepts into strategic policy recommendations.
• Strong technical writing, research and documentation skills with experience in drafting policy papers, regulatory reports and strategic roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and advisory skills.

Preferred skill sets:

• Experience in advising government bodies, policy think tanks or regulatory authorities on AI adoption.
• Familiarity with Digital India, National AI Strategy (NITI Aayog) and Indias AI governance ecosystem.
• Exposure to AI use cases in governance such as public service automation, regulatory technology and AI-powered citizen services.
• Knowledge of emerging AI technologies (NLP, federated learning, AI in cybersecurity) and their policy implications.
• Certification in AI Governance, Policy or Digital Transformation Strategy is a plus.

Experience:

• 6 to 10 years of experience in AI consulting, policy advisory or digital transformation strategy.
• Proven experience in advising or working on large-scale e-Governance projects, AI adoption in government or digital public infrastructure.
• Exposure to state / national-level AI initiatives, public sector AI strategy or regulatory compliance is highly preferred.

Education qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science or a related field.
• Master’s degree (M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc) in AI Policy, Technology Management, Public Policy (with a tech focus) or Business Analytics is preferred.
