Job Description

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years
of experience in IT with at least
4+ years in cloud data migration/engineering
.
Strong hands-on expertise with
AWS EMR Serverless, AWS Glue, Lambda
.
Proficiency in
R programming
for statistical analysis, data manipulation, and integration within migration pipelines.
Solid experience with
PL/SQL
for database migrations and query optimization.
Strong understanding of
big data frameworks
(Spark, Hive, Presto, etc.) in AWS EMR.
Experience in
ETL pipeline design, optimization, and orchestration
.
Knowledge of
cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks
.
Hands-on experience with
CI/CD tools, Git, Terraform/CloudFormation
for infrastructure automation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Good to Have:

Exposure to
Snowflake, Redshift, or other cloud data warehouses
.
Knowledge of
data lake architectures
on AWS (S3, Lake Formation).
Familiarity with
Python/PySpark
alongside R.
Experience in
migrating large-scale financial/healthcare/enterprise data workloads
.
