Job Description

Role Overview: As a Member of Technical Staff at Omnissa, you will have the opportunity to utilize your analytical mind and passion for systems engineering to provide prompt and efficient technical support to end-users. You will be responsible for desktop support, hardware inventory management, IT store/depos operations, and executive support. Your role will involve diagnosing and addressing hardware and software issues, maintaining accurate records of hardware inventory, overseeing IT store/depos operations, and providing dedicated technical support to executive-level staff. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver prompt and efficient technical support to end-users for various hardware and software issues. - Diagnose and address issues associated with laptops, printers, and other peripherals. - Install, set up, and manage operating systems, applications, and software updates. - Help users with account setup, password resets, and other account-related problems. - Develop and keep documentation of technical procedures and solutions. - Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, including laptops, monitors, and other peripherals. - Track hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal. - Conduct regular audits of hardware inventory to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. - Manage the procurement and deployment of new hardware. - Oversee day-to-day IT store/depos operations, manage inventory, replenish stock, and provide colleague support services. - Assist colleagues in choosing IT equipment and accessories based on hardware standards. - Offer guidance and recommendations for hardware and software solutions. - Provide dedicated technical support to executive-level staff, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and proactive maintenance. - Prioritize executive requests and ensure timely and efficient service delivery. - Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role. - Experience with hardware inventory management systems is preferred. - Experience in providing executive support is a plus. - Certifications in Microsoft or Apple technologies are beneficial. - Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems is essential. - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues is required. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
