Senior Civil Structural Engineer

As a Senior Civil Structural Engineer at QQ Engineering & Consulting (QQEC), you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end civil/structural design and coordination for solar PV and Substation projects, supporting engineering functions. Your responsibilities will include: - Design and analysis of Steel & RCC Structures (Buildings/Solar module mounting structures/Switchyard Equipment supporting structures, retaining wall, etc) using staad pro software and be familiar with current design standard and working practices. - Design of foundations (Isolated Footing/Combined Footing/Piling/Ramming/Mat). - Design of Road & Drains. - Preparation of design report for submission to the client. - Preparation of BOQS, Technical Specification, Cost Estimates & Tender documents. - Review and finalization of Civil & Steel Structural drawings. - Assist in bid finalization, getting approval on design and drawings from the client. - Attend design review meetings with client/consultant. - Interface with clients, EPCs, and internal teams to ensure project delivery timelines and resolving design issues. - Must be well versed with AutoCAD and staad pro. - To carry out site visits in India and Abroad. - Follow the integrated management system (IMS) requirements set by the company. Required Skills: - Proficiency in STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, MS Excel. - Strong grip on Indian and International standards and foundation design. - Experience in solar/wind structures is highly desirable. - Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with environmental impact assessments. - Understanding of construction practices and technical documentation. Qualification Required: - B.E./ M-Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering with 2-5 years of experience.
