Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer

Role Overview: You will be part of a team developing solar, wind, and solar-wind hybrid sites across India, contributing to the energy transition for large-scale solar and wind projects. Your primary focus will be on the design and engineering of civil foundations for various equipment and Module Mounting Structures (MMS) for solar power plants. Key Responsibilities: - Review geotechnical, topographical surveys, and land selection. - Prepare in-house drawings and technical specifications. - Optimize design and apply technical principles to MMS foundation, structures, equipment foundations, roads, and other civil works. - Prepare design basis reports and conduct structural design calculations. - Review vendor designs/drawings, RC detailed drawings, Bar-bending schedules, BoQ, etc. - Design RCC, PEB, and steel structures. - Estimate material BOQ, cut & fill BOQ, and earthworks. - Resolve construction queries from the site and conduct site visits as required. - Manage work effectively and meet project timelines. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering from a reputable institute. - 10-15 years of experience in structural design, with a minimum of 5 years in the solar domain. - Sound knowledge of design areas in solar plant layouts, MMS, transmission tower structural design, control room foundations, prefab structures, and general civil requirements for large-scale solar power plants. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Staad Pro, MS Office, Solid Works, and 3D MAX. - Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills. - Ability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams. - Willingness to travel and work in a customer-focused, project-oriented environment. - Familiarity with IS codes and industry practices.
