Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Routine analysis of products and raw materials. Follow SOPs. Operation of Analytical instruments and trouble shooting. Chemical analysis by titrations, gravimetry, etc. Data interpretation. Timely feedback and reporting of results. Timely calibration of all the instruments. Understanding of customer specifications and providing the test results to QA for dispatch. Compliance to IMS standards by keeping records updated. Improve soft skills of group members. Training group members for implementation of SOPs and working with SAP module. Resolving conflicts Knowledge sharing meetings Follow proper safety, house-keeping and GLP practices at all times. HAZOP studies of the processes developed in the laboratory. Risk assessment of all activities in the lab EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : M. Sc in Analytical / Inorganic chemistry or equivalent with hands on experience of chemical analysis RELEVANT AND TOTAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : Total experience around 6 to 8 yrs in chemical / instrumental analysis, data interpretation and trouble shooting. Handling of hygroscopic / hazardous materials. (2 4 years) Experience in large and leading chemical complex will be added advantage
