Role Description
This is a contract role for a Senior Calypso Analyst Developer at Emperen Technologies.The position involves day-to-day activities such as designing, developing, and implementing Calypso solutions.The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.This position is based in Bengaluru, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing some work from home.Qualifications :
Job Type : Contract long-term (MNC Client).Domain Expertise (Finance + Trading Systems).- Must have hands-on experience in Calypso (NASDAQ Calypso software) this is the core.- Strong understanding of financial products & trade lifecycle (front-to-back office processes, risk, settlements).- Ideally worked in capital markets / investment banking environments.Technical Skills (Core Must-Haves) :
- Java programming (primary language for Calypso customization).- SQL & database management (for handling trade data, customizations, reports).- Experience in unit testing & automated regression testing.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Additional Good-to-Have Skills :
- Calypso certification (not mandatory but strong plus).- Knowledge of risk management systems or adjacent financial software.- Strong communication skills (since role involves interaction with users, business analysts, and global teams).
