Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst BI & Analytics Program We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with 10+ years of experience to lead business discussions, requirement elicitation, and documentation for the BI & Analytics Program . The role requires working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and BI developers to ensure that business needs are clearly understood, well-documented, and effectively translated into actionable solutions. The candidate should be able to lead workshop discussions independently , ensuring comprehensive stakeholder engagement and requirement alignment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders (business users, technical teams, and management) to gather, validate, and document business requirements and system specifications. Work closely with business users to create wireframes, and process flows . Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on business requirements for BI developers and data engineers. Analyze existing business systems and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations. Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and use cases. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the integration of business requirements into technical solutions, and reporting. Conduct testing and validation, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that solutions remain innovative and scalable. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Over 10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst. Proven expertise in facilitating workshops and interviews with both technical and business stakeholders. Strong experience with documenting business processes, system specifications, and data models. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Visio, Excel, PPT, Word, SQL, and various business analysis and documentation software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly terms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Business & Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills . Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities . Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment . Self-motivated and able to lead the role with minimal supervision. Ability to lead discussions and workshops independently with business and technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Familiarity with cloud-based databases (, Azure, Databricks, AWS etc.). Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is preferred Strong understanding of Power BI Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and data validation Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration frameworks . Fair understanding of data governance principles , ensuring compliance and data integrity
