Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst at our Partner, a subscriber-focused business intelligence company specializing in private investment markets, your role is crucial in supporting the successful execution of existing and new subscription data and information, events, and related membership products. Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, product management, and software delivery teams to analyze user needs and functional requirements. Your responsibilities will include creating various artefacts, analyzing, testing, and implementing new functionality, and maintaining accurate project documentation. Your analytical mindset, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are essential for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborating with internal stakeholders, Product management, and product software delivery teams to analyze user needs and functional requirements. - Creating artefacts such as user stories, Product Backlog Items, specification or support documents, and process flows. - Working with cross-functional roles throughout each sprint, including software engineers. - Analyzing, testing, and implementing new functionality as part of a larger project team. - Translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications. - Liaising with various stakeholders during different project stages. - Assisting in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation. - Maintaining accurate project documentation. - Identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. **Key Requirements:** - Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on a transformation project or IT solution delivery team. - High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. - Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, preferably Agile. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a dynamic environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. **Good to Haves:** - Minimum 3+ years of experience working on complex analysis of datasets and data validation. - Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data query languages, Data Mapping & Data Modelling.
