Senior Business Analyst & Data Analytics-Assistant Vice President

As a Data Analytics Senior Analyst at the company, your role involves applying your in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes and workflows. You will integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requiring a deep understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function. Your analytical skills will be crucial in filtering, prioritizing, and validating potentially complex material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential as you will regularly assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams and be involved in coaching and training new recruits. Key Responsibilities: - Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and workflows. - Coordinate and contribute to the objectives of data science initiatives and overall business by leveraging a deep understanding of collective integration within the sub-function. - Assume informal/formal leadership roles by coaching and training new recruits. - Influence decisions, work, and performance of all teams through advice, counsel, and facilitating services to others in the business. - Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights, implications, and make strategic recommendations, and develop data displays to communicate complex analysis clearly. - Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to optimize and improve data quality. - Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems, identify required data, assess time & effort, and establish project plans. - Consult with business clients to identify system functional specifications and recommend solutions for complex system issues/problems. - Lead system change process and provide user and operational support for applications to business users. - Formulate systems scope and objectives for complex projects through research and understanding of business systems and industry standards. - Consider business implications of technology application, communicate risks and impacts, and drive communication between business leaders and IT. Qualifications: - 5-8 years of experience using tools for statistical modeling of large datasets. - Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques. - Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
