Job Summary/Overview:

Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Engage with business users, project managers, and IT teams to gather and understand business needs, objectives, and challenges.

• Process Analysis:

  Conduct detailed analysis of existing systems, workflows, and processes to identify improvement opportunities and areas for automation.

• Requirements Elicitation:

  Use structured techniques like interviews, workshops, and document reviews to gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements.

• Specifications Development:

  Create detailed functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process diagrams for development and QA teams.

• Validation & Testing Support:

  Work with QA teams to define test cases, review test results, and ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.

• Project Risk Management:

  Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early and propose actionable mitigation plans.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Recommend and drive process enhancements that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

• Team Collaboration:

  Partner with development teams to clarify requirements and ensure effective implementation.

• Mentorship:

  Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts to build their analytical and documentation skills.

• Agile & Waterfall Projects:

  Participate in both Agile sprints and traditional SDLC environments, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 610 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC and project management processes.
• Proficiency in elicitation, documentation, and modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with

  JIRA, Confluence, and Visio

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working in both

  Agile and Waterfall

  environments.
• Certifications such as

  CBAP

  or

  PMI-PBA

  are highly desirable.
• Domain knowledge in

  Market Research, Consulting, or related industries

  is an advantage.
