Responsibilities: Lead & participate in building products end to end, from helping to scope projects to measuring their success and iterating quickly based on user feedback Design, implement, and maintain the APIs & user-facing experiences core to our business and growth strategy Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack Review code with best practices of readability, testing patterns, documentation, security, and performance considerations in mind Make effective tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience, and reliability Requirements: Have 4+ years of experience building backend systems for B2B or B2C SaaS products, preferably in fintech or the financial services domain or high growth environments. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying large scale applications in any language or stack. Experience working with backend tech (e.g. Ruby on Rails, Python, and/or NodeJS) Make design decisions, own end to end (depth) for a specific set of features while having breadth on the rest of the features and provide technical guidance for the Junior members in the team.
