Job Description

5+ years of experience as a backend engineer in product-based companies Proficient in Python or NodeJS Strong understanding of scalable architectures, APIs, and microservices Experience with AI/ML integrations or agentic AI is preferred Familiarity with real-time data processing or audio data handling is a plus Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring Strong communication skills and experience in remote teams

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable backend services for Pocket s AI features
Integrate with AI/ML models for transcription, summarization, and insights Ensure backend performance, reliability, and security Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define APIs and backend needs Develop and maintain data storage, retrieval, and encryption mechanisms Monitor systems and troubleshoot production issues
