Senior Backend Developer – AI & Cloud Systems Location: Gurugram ( Days: Monday to Saturday (10 AM – 7 PM)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI, Django, and Cloud-based AI applications. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing, developing, and deploying robust backend systems that power AI-driven products and platforms. You will work closely with our AI, IoT, and frontend teams to build scalable microservices and manage full product lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using FastAPI and Django.
• Build and manage RESTful and WebSocket services for high-performance systems.
• Integrate AI/ML models into backend workflows.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and AI engineers to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with version control (Git).
• Implement and maintain database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Ensure application scalability, performance optimization, and security.
• Lead and mentor junior developers in the backend and cloud architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong command of FastAPI, Django, Python, and API design principles.
• Proficiency with Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with AI/ML model integration, data pipelines, and related frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Gurugram and attend in-person interviews.

Nice to Have

• Experience in microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
• Understanding of computer vision or NLP APIs integration.

Competitive; commensurate with experience and skill level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
