Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer with over 8 years of experience in backend development for web apps using Python, you will be responsible for the following key skills and requirements: - Secure coding practices, including input validation, encryption, and preventing vulnerabilities - Strong understanding of OAuth2 for authentication and authorization - Solid testing habits, with pytest preferred - Proficiency with Django REST Framework & FastAPI (preferred) for at least 4 years - Experience with SQLAlchemy + Alembic, focusing on database optimization with Postgres preferred for at least 5 years - Working knowledge of Azure Cloud services such as App Service, Functions, AKS, Container Apps, Blob Storage, and Key Vault for at least 2 years - Proficient in using Git, whether it's GitHub or Azure DevOps for at least 5 years - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Knowledge of Docker, docker-compose, and Kubernetes is a plus - Experience working with Celery / CeleryBeat / RedBeat or other schedulers - Agile development experience - Good understanding of systems integrations - Comfortable using Visual Studio & VS Code - Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong multitasking and time management skills - Team player in multicultural and gender-sensitive environments Additionally, the job posting refers to the company as hirist.tech.,
