Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Backend Developer (PHP, Laravel)

with expertise in designing scalable systems, performance optimization, and cloud-based deployments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP (Laravel).
Collaborate with architects, product managers, designers, and QA engineers to implement new features and enhance existing functionality.
Define, evolve, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend architectures.
Refactor and optimize codebases for performance and maintainability.
Conduct code reviews, enforce clean code practices, and manage technical debt.
Provide technical insights to support product planning and roadmap execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience with
PHP and the Laravel framework
(experience with Python/Golang is a plus).
Strong experience with
MySQL/MSSQL
and
Redis
.
Hands-on experience with
AWS
(Hetzner is a plus).
Knowledge of
Docker/Kubernetes
for containerization.
Experience with
CI/CD tools
including Git and GitHub workflows.
Strong background in performance optimization (applications, databases, and infrastructure).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on

healthcare platforms or complex enterprise systems

clustered database environments

Experience collaborating in agile, globally distributed teams.

Experience:

7+ Years (Backend Development, with 5+ years in PHP/Laravel)
