Responsibilities

• Design and develop a world-class

• Design, deploy, and improve proprietary algorithms.
• Use the best software development practices and standards, including

  testing, code reviews, and site monitoring

• Take ownership of the product from ideation to iteration, with the goal of reaching millions of users.
• Contribute to a better India by building a product that addresses a complex nationwide operational problem.

Skills

Required Skills:

• Experience with backend

  MVC frameworks

  like Rails, Django, Node.js, or CodeIgniter.
• Experience in

  C/C++ or Java

  and one scripting language such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Comfortable with the

  Linux operating system and Bash scripting

  .
• A strong understanding of

  RDBMS concepts

  and proficiency with features of popular databases like

  MySQL and Postgres

  .
• Love coding and a passion for taking ownership of work.
• An interest in participating in hackathons.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in any

  NoSQL databases

Qualifications

• A

  BE/BS/BTech

  in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
