Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using

  Core Node.js

  (without heavy reliance on frameworks).
• Design efficient and reusable server-side logic, modules, and libraries.
  
• Integrate with databases such as

  MongoDB

  ,

  MySQL

  , or

  PostgreSQL

  .
• Manage server deployment and configuration on

  AWS

  ,

  Digital Ocean

  , or similar platforms.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
  
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and reliability.
  
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
  
• Debug and resolve backend issues efficiently.
  
• Collaborate with frontend teams and other stakeholders to integrate APIs seamlessly.
  
• Maintain clear technical documentation for backend processes.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Expert-level proficiency in Core Node.js

  (async programming, event loop, streams, buffers, process management)
• Strong knowledge of

  REST API

  development and

  GraphQL

  (optional)
• Experience with

  MongoDB

  and at least one relational database (

  MySQL/PostgreSQL

  )
• Hands-on experience with

  AWS services

  (EC2, S3, RDS) or similar cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of

  Docker

  ,

  CI/CD pipelines

  , and server configuration (

  Nginx, PM2

  )
• Understanding of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached)
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
