Job description Senior CloudOps Engineer Experience: 5+ years Opportunity Type: Permanent & Remote Placement We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure CloudOps Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, automation, and operations to ensure reliability, scalability and security of our cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for leveraging cloud technologies to drive business success. Key Responsibilities: • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Azure cloud infrastructure. • Automation & Optimization: Develop scripts and automation processes to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks. • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement robust monitoring systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure system availability. • Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices, compliance standards, and governance policies for cloud resources. • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align cloud operations with business objectives. • Cost Management: Optimize cloud costs by monitoring resource usage and recommending cost-saving measures. • Incident Response: Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis to resolve critical system issues. Requirements: • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management, with at least 3 years focused on Azure. • Strong expertise in Azure services, including VMs, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps and monitoring tools. • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution. • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
