Senior Automation Test Engineer Selenium/Playwright

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Selenium with Java and practical experience in Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript. Your main responsibilities will include designing scalable test automation frameworks, creating robust test scripts, and ensuring product quality through comprehensive test coverage. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation test frameworks such as POM and Hybrid. You will also implement frameworks that integrate multiple libraries and tools to support functional, regression, and API testing. Some of the tools and libraries you will be working with include Jest for test running and assertion framework, Playwright for browser-based testing, Axios for API requests, and Allure for reporting and visualization. As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will develop and execute automation scripts for regression and functional testing. You will enhance and maintain test scripts using DOM locators, WebDriver methods, JavaScript/TypeScript concepts, and TestNG annotations. Additionally, you will perform error handling, analyze test results, and log detailed bug reports. You will develop data-driven test cases and integrate them into the automation suite, define test scenarios, and write test cases aligned with user stories and acceptance criteria. In this role, you will actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives. You will track and manage defects through their lifecycle and contribute to regression test planning.
