Senior Associate/Vice President, Investment Banking India

As an experienced Investment Banking professional, you will be responsible for supporting senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing a variety of financial transactions including M&A, equity and debt offerings. Your role will involve participating in the full transaction lifecycle, from formulating financial analysis to preparing pitch documentation and client presentations. Additionally, you will assist senior bankers and country leadership with data analysis, pitch preparation, and advisory-related presentations. In this role, you will directly support senior bankers in day-to-day transaction origination and execution, playing an active role in mandated deals through client advisory work and review of legal documents. You will also be involved in asset or company due diligence during transactions and prepare detailed analyses of proposed and completed deals to stay abreast of market trends. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 6 years of full-time investment banking experience in front-office M&A or coverage team within an Investment Bank with exposure to India transactions. You must have a proven track record of closing M&A and IPO deals. Strong excel, financial modeling, and presentation skills are essential for this role. A Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, along with experience in creating financial models, corporate valuations, and other transaction documents. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are necessary to build and maintain client relationships effectively. Strong organizational skills are also crucial to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
