We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with deep expertise in dbt Core , Jinja templating , and modern data warehousing (preferably Snowflake). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling , transformation pipelines , and dbt internals , including custom materializations and macros .
You will work on
5 10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles.
Strong handson experience with dbt Core (not just dbt Cloud). Must have 23 years strong HandsOn on dbt Core
Deep understanding of dbt internals, including how dbt compiles SQL, manages state, and executes runs.
Proficiency in Jinja templating and writing custom macros.
Experience with custom materializations and advanced dbt configurations.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schema, normalization/denormalization).
Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like dbt Cloud/CLI, Git, dbt artifacts, and dbt tests.
Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across functions.
