Senior Associate - Valmo (Gross loss reduction)

As a Senior Associate in Meesho's Fulfillment and Experience (F&E) team, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the experience of the next billion e-commerce users in India. You will be part of a diverse team of over 100 professionals who are all driven by the first principles of problem-solving. Your responsibilities will range from running operations/support to managing the supply chain and maintaining analytics. At Meesho, the goal is to revolutionize e-commerce in tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India, and your role will be pivotal in reimagining logistics from the ground up. Your role will involve building a robust and cost-centric supply chain by collaborating closely with the Business, Operations, and Data teams. You will work with the Operations Team to enhance user experience, lead key initiatives, and drive impactful projects aimed at transforming the way customers are served. Your primary focus will be on minimizing losses in the supply chain through cost-effective designs, processes, and SOPs, and you will be responsible for owning the Gross loss metric for Fulfillment and Experience. Key Responsibilities: - Own Gross loss, Net Loss metrics & work on Gross loss reduction charter to minimize losses in Supply chain - Manage end-to-end Shipment reconciliation with different stakeholders within target timelines - Create instrumentation for tracking pending shipments and ensure timely operations closures - Design cost-effective, scalable SOPs aligned with business strategy for backend processes - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, partner with 3PLs, and drive business process improvements for operational efficiencies - Identify and address areas for continuous improvement in existing processes through data analysis - Conduct data analysis to generate insights and drive improvements Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in any discipline - 2 years of work experience in start-ups, consumer internet companies, management consulting, operations, or e-commerce - Strong data-driven mindset and analytical skills - Ability to form points of view on business implications and drive initiatives independently - Proficiency in Excel; SQL experience is a plus - Expertise in multi-front stakeholder management At Meesho, we are committed to democratizing internet commerce and empowering small businesses to succeed online.
