Senior Associate - US Accounting

As a Client Financial Management specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks including preparing and reviewing client accounts, financial statements, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Your role will also involve aiding the senior team in the financial closing process, conducting financial analysis, and resolving client billing inquiries. Your key responsibilities include: - Prepare / review client accounts, financial statements, and reports with accuracy and compliance. - Review month-end and year-end closings for client accounts. - Facilitate senior team in the financial closing process by making journal adjustments and reconciliations. - Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis for client accounts. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their queries and providing exceptional service. In terms of qualifications, you are required to have: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Masters or professional degree (CA Inter / CMA pursuing / CPA pursuing) preferred. - Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within an accounting environment. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. - Strong understanding of accounting principles. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
