Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the Revenue month-end close and related reporting and analysis, ensuring proper documentation of all accounting activity in accordance with SOX controls and internal policy, performing technical accounting research on ad hoc issues, and continuously improving processes. Ad hoc travel between DNAP offices may be required. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, review, analyze, and/or record Revenue Accounting entries to the general ledger (G/L) for month-end closing, including recording revenue, contra revenue, deferred revenue, and addressing complex billing, accounting, and reporting issues. - Ensure all documentation for G/L entries meets company policy and SOX compliance, and maintain proper documentation. - Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate, consistent, traceable, and auditable G/L information. - Assist in internal and external audit work, coordinating Revenue Accounting request list and SOX testing with auditors. - Update documentation for the DNAP Revenue accounting and compliance process manual. - Familiarize with Revenue billing systems, SAP, and affiliate/ad sales revenue process. - Identify and implement process improvements, lead cross-department meetings, prepare agendas, schedule meetings, document and track action items, and escalate issues as needed. - Perform special or routine projects as assigned, manage deadlines, and demonstrate full ownership and completion of tasks. - Collaborate effectively with revenue team, other teams, and DNAP AR team, fostering open communication and information transparency. Qualification Required: - CA Qualified or CA Inter. - More than 2 years of accounting and reporting experience. - Preferred understanding of US GAAP for revenue recognition. - Experience with enterprise information systems, SAP preferred. - Knowledge of media/entertainment industry preferred. - Proficient in MS Office applications, with strong Excel skills. - High integrity, critical thinker, detail-oriented, and motivated by challenging environments. - Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well with others. - Legal right to work in India with English language fluency.,
