As a Senior Associate Legal / Associate Legal at our company, your role will involve managing the electricity regulatory team, briefing senior lawyers, conducting legal research, and providing litigation support. Your experience or exposure to the energy or electricity sector will be advantageous. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drafting matters for APTEL, CERC, and MERC. - Conducting conferences and coordinating with the client team and arguing counsels. - Performing legal research, preparing case summaries, memos, and briefing notes. - Supporting regulatory compliance by tracking laws, policies, and amendments. - Coordinating with external counsels for litigation or dispute resolution matters. - Maintaining and updating legal documentation, files, and case databases. - Providing legal inputs in internal meetings for ongoing projects. - Ensuring timely filings and responses to regulatory bodies. - Sitting at the client's office on a part-time basis and working from there. Fluency in Marathi language is preferred. **Qualifications & Skills:** - 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or as an individual practitioner. - Understanding or experience in the energy/electricity sector is beneficial. - Strong research, drafting, and communication skills. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to the Electricity Act, energy policies, and contracts. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
