Senior Associate / Lead - HRSS (Compensation & Benefits)

Compensation Specialist

Location: Chennai (Work From Office)
Region Supported: United States Shift: Night Shift (Rotational Weekly Off) Experience: 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute annual compensation cycles (Merit, Bonus, Incentives, LTI)
• Manage salary structures, variable pay & incentive calculations
• Perform job evaluations, market benchmarking & pay analysis
• Administer US Benefits including

  401(k) & Defined Contribution plans

• Ensure compliance with FLSA, ERISA, SOX & other US regulations
• Handle STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA & related benefit programs
• Validate compensation & payroll inputs for accuracy & compliance
• Partner with US HR, Payroll & HRIS teams
• Build compensation models & forecasting tools (Advanced Excel)
• Drive process improvements, automation & audit readiness
• (Lead Role) Manage escalations & mentor junior team members
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years in Compensation / Total Rewards / HR Analytics (US Exposure Mandatory)
• Strong hands-on experience in

  Workday Compensation & HCM

• Experience managing

  401(k) and Defined Contribution plans

• Strong knowledge of US compensation & benefits regulations
• Advanced Excel & analytical skills
• Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred)
• CCP certification (Good to have)
