Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assembling mechanical subassemblies into modules and mechanical integration into the machine through to the complete machine, including the preparation of own work steps based on the order documentation.
Recognizing and correcting errors and checking compatibility on mechanical components and modules
Train and guide new employees and trainees in the production department on machine assembly
Support Assembly Supervisor in implementing and improving processes in Production
Contributing to the creation and further development of documented assembly instructions
Carrying out self-checks of the completed assemblies for visual, dimensional and functional quality
Setting up and aligning the finished machine systems and parts in the plant and completing them with other components in accordance with the layout plan and technical drawing from the CAD system
Obtaining required material and parts from warehouse
Supporting the (pre-)installation of pneumatic and lubrication systems as well as the laying of lines and connection of electrical components

Implementing rework in commissioning and initiating rework in the workshop in consultation with the team leader

Job requirements:

Qualification: ITI mechanical
Experience:
5-8+ yrs
in mechanical engineering
Additional training/competence: knowledge of mechanical assembly
Miscellaneous:
good English skill level
, strong understanding of how to interpret and use technical CAD drawings, pneumatic plans
